Sandra & Len would like you to come and stay at a beautifully presented Edwardian Guest House. Enjoy the convenience of being in the centre of town whilst staying on a quiet street off the main road. Stroll into Banbury town centre or take a short walk to the train and bus station. Relax in our spacious bedrooms which are tastefully decorated, with superking double beds and large showers in all en suites. All of our rooms have blackout curtains to help you have a peaceful sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. Our breakfast is always cooked to order with sausages from the local butchers and eggs from a local farm. Freshly cut toast can be enjoyed with homemade jams, marmalades and lemon curd.
Banbury, in North Oxfordshire, is a quaint old town, well known for its popular nursery rhyme 'Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross'. There are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs to meet all budgets and tastes. Markets are held every Thursday and Saturday with a Farmers Market being held on the 1st Friday of every month.
Banbury is a great base for a scenic drive through the cotswolds taking in Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold and even Bourton on the Water and Broadway. A short train ride will take you to Oxford, Leamington Spa or London in under an hour. An ideal base for business as Banbury is just off the M40, it is also a very good centre for exploring the surrounding areas by bicycle or on foot. We have many lovely National Trust houses in the area which are all easily accessable by car.
If you are one of our overseas Guests, flights into Birmingham BHX are a convenient way to get to us. The airport terminal has a direct train service to Banbury Train Station which takes around 40 minutes. An easy and hassle free way to arrive
